The Software Engineer II is a mid-level full stack software engineer focused on building enterprise level applications. We are seeking a software engineer for the web applications team, which is tasked with uplifting, modernizing, and rewriting legacy web applications. We are looking for an individual who has experience with modern web technologies like React, Angular, .NET Core, and/or Blazor. Ideal candidates will be able to write and deploy web applications using common best practices in both design and architecture.

Typical daily activities include:

• Developing code consistent with specifications and performing unit testing of such code
• Providing technical support to internal and external customers
• Utilize professional discretion to make technical decisions that guide project, department, or program as needed
• Communicate clearly both in writing and verbally the specific logic involved in assigned tasks
• Proactively research, learn, and apply new technology and methods to solve assigned tasks
• Perform peer code reviews and collaborate with team to improve overall design and code

Minimum:

• Associates degree or 2 additional years of relevant experience
• Professional Development Experience writing new code in applications using C# .Net, Angular, React, VueJS, Razor or Blazor

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of professional development experience
• Experience writing software deliverables professionally, from concept to delivery
