Job Description

The Brand Quality Manager will work with the BlueScope Buildings Quality Improvement Managers and other Quality Managers across the business to develop a quality strategy that includes process improvement initiatives, claims analysis and resolution, and representation at continuous improvement events. The manager will develop and drive a quality culture within the Butler business and will interface with internal continuous improvement resources on an ongoing basis.  Implement a quality strategy for Butler ensuring alignment with BlueScope Buildings quality strategy.  This will focus on functional areas of Sales, Estimating and Project Management.  Implement total quality operational excellence policies and programs within Butler.  Create a Butler-wide culture of quality.  Lead and execute the collection, analysis, and interpretation of claims data and work with the leaders inside Butler and across BlueScope Buildings to facilitate improvements.  Ensure appropriate business processes are documented and implemented and training is available, so the required quality standards exist to fully meet the needs of the business and customers.  Lead audits within Sales, Estimating and Project Management for adherence to company procedures and standards.  Report audit findings to business leaders and provide recommendation on corrective action plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.  In lieu of degree 5 years of relevant experience is required.

5 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, or related field.

Knowledge of Production Engineering, Manufacturing and Project Management processes.
