ASC Profiles LLC is the leading manufacturer of steel roof and wall products and structural roof and floor deck in the Western U.S., servicing customers from eight locations. Steelscape, LLC is a national supplier of metallic-coated and pre-painted steel. Steelscape’s facilities, located in Kalama, Washington; and Rancho Cucamonga, California are strategically located near major truck, ship and rail routes to service the Western U.S. market.

Job Description

The Human Resources Manager serves as a leadership partner with accountability for people, performance and organizational improvement.  The HR Manager develops and deploys HR processes, policies, and practices that align with the goals of the business.  This includes providing perspective, coaching, tools and insight to leaders to drive success of necessary projects, communications, progressive change and engagement.

  • Develop and implement recruiting and workforce plans to ensure improved selection, diversity, onboarding and retention outcomes
  • Facilitate and provide support for performance management and change management
  • Develop, recommend, and deploy Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Counsel and coach supervisors and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and all aspects of employment law
  • Perform benefit administration, communications and counseling
  • Build organization capability by providing training and support for employees and managers, including career and professional development
  • Develop and administer effective programs, which drive alignment with Our Bond, diversity & Inclusive culture, employee engagement and the HR business plan
  • Support business transformation reviews and execute the people aspect to make step change improvements to the business.
  • Administer salary and incentive plans
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years of Human Resources Management experience
  • Business Unit/Site level planning and execution
  • Knowledge of application of employment laws across WA/OR/CA
  • Experience in leading recruiting and staffing efforts for professional and production positions
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of compensation practices and experience in salary and incentive plan administration
  • Background administering employee health and welfare plans, and the ability to counsel employees relative to benefit issues
  • Practiced in the application of performance management and career/professional development strategies and processes
  • Experience planning, facilitating, and conducting training
  • Proficient in statistical analysis

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience facilitating investigations, grievances, arbitration, and collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
  • Qualification in Change/Project Management
