The Manufacturing Process Manager I -    The Manager supervises production staff and creates a successful team culture through coaching and mentoring.  They are also accountable for various manufacturing key process indicators.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • This role is expected to assist in the implementation and support of manufacturing excellence within the region's manufacturing defined business systems.  This requires strong leadership skills, analytical and diplomacy.  Focus will be on safety, quality, performance improvement, cost reduction, product delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of Zero Harm and heighten safety awareness.
  • Drive results in the areas of employees engagement, Zero Defects, performance improvement, continuous improvement, product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all processes to deliver orders on-time and complete.
  • Lead adherence to all procedures, audits, practices and standard work within the operation.
  • Support the increased safety focus and improve performance targets.
  • Develop employees and foster an engaged workforce and high-performance team culture.
  • Manage budget, conversion costs, man-hours per ton, on-time delivery, through analysis of data and improving team member performance.

 

Knowledge of manufacturing process and capabilities

  • Understanding of COMPASS, Vision and ERP systems
  • PC Literate - Microsoft and Excel Skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking & time management
  • Organizational and presentation skills
  • Must possess strong leadership, coaching and analytical skills

Requisitos

 

  • High School diploma is required.  BS degree in Business Management is preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years' management experience
