ASC Profiles LLC is the leading manufacturer of steel roof and wall products and structural roof and floor deck in the Western U.S., servicing customers from eight locations. ASC Profiles services various segments of the steel construction industry through its three divisions, AEP Span, ASC Steel Deck and ASC Building Products.

Steelscape, LLC is a national supplier of metallic-coated and pre-painted steel. Aimed at servicing the construction industry, Steelscape’s products can be used for a wide range of applications from metal buildings to architectural roofing to decking and framing. Steelscape’s facilities, located in Kalama, Washington; and Rancho Cucamonga, California are strategically located near major truck, ship and rail routes to service the Western U.S. market.

The Senior Accountant manages all aspects of Shared Services project based performance improvements.  This includes assisting with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrades and implementations and increasing efficiencies in reporting and month end processes via automation. 

This team is also responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial and regulatory accounting functions. The team will support the strategic and operational objectives of the company while protecting the company’s assets by establishing and enforcing financial policies and controls while building collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

•  Perform timely and accurate monthly journal entries and account analysis as required
• Manage aspects of Shared Services functions including but not limited to: Payroll, Insurance, Licensing’s, Expense reporting, Cash 
• Manage capital asset process for the business including but not limited to;  Capital authorization development and analysis, capital budgeting, post investment reviews, managing subsidiary asset ledgers, physical inventories 
• Seek improved methods and procedures that will satisfy both control objectives and maximize the effectiveness of company resources through automation
• Provide information to internal and external auditors/consultants as required 
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards
• Provide timely and accurate reporting and analyses

Minimum Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred Experience & Qualifications 

• CPA certification
• Experience with a large ERP system, preferably SAP
