The Estimator II provides support to the business, builders, architects, and end customers by providing up front product knowledge, pricing, details, and complete estimating and technical support.  

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Builds models in Vision, Revit, etc. to assist Quote Engineers and Sales Engineers in modeling, layout and pricing projects secondaries, panel, trim, and primary structurals. Work closely with quote engineers, sales engineers, and builders. Prepare new orders for handoff to CSS engineering. Provide technical expertise to customers. Member of high performance work team. Participate in environment of continuous improvement, cost reduction and superior customer service.

Minimum Education & Experience Qualifications

• Associate Degree or 2 year technical degree
• 3 years of progressive experience in estimating, project management or related field

Preferred Education & Experience Qualifications

• Advanced certifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in an estimating or sales role
• Experience in estimating, clarification or project management of pre-engineered buildings systems
• Thorough company product knowledge and knowledge of key internal and external contacts
• Proficient in use of company engineering software, brand process and pricing systems
