The Opportunity
Our Distribution and Service Centre is looking for a Load Marker in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
This 12 month fixed term opportunity will support our logistics & warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. Working in a dynamic team environment, you will provide collaborative approach to a range of tasks such as the loading and unloading of trucks and rail, machine operation, scheduling, load marking and a variety of work that is both rewarding and fun.
The working hours for this exciting opportunity are Afternoon Shift: Monday – Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 11am-5pm hours with overtime eligibility.

What Will You Do?
Suggest and implement in continuous improvement ideas, identify safety issues and corrective actions and contribute to delivering our business plan activities and projects. This role will see you:
- operate gantry cranes and hoists
- picking and loading orders and other dispatch duties
- identifying non-conforming products
- re-strapping/packaging products
- updating floor locations of products
- conducting bay scans

- a current forklift ticket licence (beneficial but not required)

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is designed to give you the chance to learn more about us while we get to know you. It involves:
- submitting your application and completing pre-screening questions, make sure to include your preferred shift preference
- completing an online safety assessment (approx. 10 minutes)
- attending an in person interview and site tour
- prior to commencing, you will be required to successfully complete pre-employment medical (including a urine drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks.
