The Opportunity

Our Kiteleys business is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Sales Team based in Sydney. For more than 60 years, the Kiteleys name has been synonymous with steel roofing. From its foundation in the Shoalhaven area in 1957, it has grown to serve clients ranging from individual homeowners to leading project home builders NSW.

In this strategic role, working within our Sales team, you will identify and develop relationships with key industry stakeholders to inspire and motivate them to design and build better buildings using our products, ensuring we are in the best position to compete for the targeted building and construction projects now and in the future. 

What Will You Do?

Building strong collaborative relationships with our sales and marketing and operational teams, you will:

  • uncover new business opportunities and connect with industry stakeholders through proactive business development, research, and networking events
  • engage with architects, builders, and regulatory bodies to build awareness, increase knowledge, and promote our products for future project specifications
  • collaborate with internal teams to align channel partners with the right customers, delivering tailored solutions and driving commercial success, own and manage the project pipeline process
  • take ownership of the project pipeline, ensuring it is actively managed and aligned with business goals

More About You

As an innovative business development professional who is exceptional at networking and building sustainable relationships, you will bring:

  • demonstrated success in obtaining specifications and translating key customer requirements into improved product and service offerings
  • experience managing a sales pipeline that has a medium to long term lead time
  • ability to navigate complex sales channels and deal with ambiguity
  • a sound knowledge of the construction practices in roofing - including a strong knowledge of the residential sector
