The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our developing BlueScope Distribution site as a Reliability Lead. The National Product, Processing & Solutions Hub is BlueScope Distribution’s new capability. It enables us to provide our customers with a unique domestically co-coordinated supply chain solution for the delivery of large-scale projects.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reliability Lead to join our team at the Hub. Working closely with the operations team, you will provide technical support and use your maintenance systems expertise to improve asset utilisation across the plant.

What Will You Do?
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Contractor management for the site, in particular the upcoming Laser installation
- taking ownership of the strategic maintenance direction for the plant and the assets onsite including design and implementation of maintenance schedules
- provide asset utilisation and maintenance expertise to support the operations team across the plant
- conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability
- ensure all maintenance procedures and tasks are developed and executed using the appropriate safety standards
- provide coaching and development to the operations team about asset management principles
- work collaboratively with the operations team to drive improvement of operational equipment and processes
- Responsible for monthly maintenance budgets
More About You
Key to this role is your previous experience in a similar reliability or maintenance position. You will hold trade or engineering qualifications in electrical, mechanical or automation and have the following experience and competencies
- commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
- the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being punctual and maintaining accuracy
- understanding of maintenance related CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration with departments and teams
- a positive attitude and willingness to work within the team
