The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Dubbo team in our Metalcorp business as a Customer Service Team Leader. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.
As the Team Leader you will be supporting the Customer Service team with a focus on managing customer enquiries and conflict resolution. This role is also accountable to achieve budgeted sales objectives in line with the Business Plan for the Branch.
With support from the leadership team, you will be given every opportunity to develop and hone your skills within the Customer Service team and using your experience in management to really drive the team to achieve the set business objectives.
What Will You Do?
Working with a friendly and inclusive team you’ll be a hands-on leader jumping in when and where needed, making sure that management activities are complete, accurate and on time, to achieve this you will:
- guide the team to support their daily interaction with customers being of a high standard
- provide a high level of customer service and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers internally and externally
- provide a point of escalation for the team and customers and effectively resolving issues
- contribute to strategic planning by supplying market insights that will create smarter solutions for our customers
- cultivate a team that promotes a superior customer service focus
- develop the team capability and product knowledge
