The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Cardiff team in our Lysaght business as a Customer Service Team Leader. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

As the Supervisor, you will be supporting a high-performing Customer Service team with a focus on managing customer enquiries and conflict resolution. Our customers vary from homeowners to builders that require tailored products and solutions.

With strong support from the leadership team, you will be given every opportunity to further your career within the Customer Service team.

What Will You Do?

Working with a friendly and inclusive team you’ll be a hands-on leader jumping in when and where needed, making sure that order management activities are complete, and you will also be:

  • guiding the team to support their daily interaction with customers being of a high standard
  • providing a point of escalation for the team and customers and effectively resolving issues
  • maintaining and enhancing relationships with internal stakeholder groups, such as transport and operations
  • contributing to strategic planning by supplying market insights that will create smarter solutions for our customers
  • cultivating a team that promotes a superior customer service focus
  • developing team capability and product knowledge
