The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Digital Finance and Innovation team as a Digital Finance Specialist with the flexibility to be located in Port Kembla NSW, Mt Waverley or Western Port VIC.

Our team is responsible for fostering innovation and collaboration, enabling our finance teams to harness data and digital capabilities. We concentrate on scaling people, processes, data, and technology initiatives to increase capacity, expedite results, and enhance transparency. This frees up capacity in our people, inspiring them to provide increased insight and decision support to the business, and allowing them to explore their potential. ​

In this innovative role, you will support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives, provide solution advice, and play a key role in implementing effective data governance practices.  This role offers a challenging yet rewarding learning curve due to the ever-changing technological landscape, with opportunities for personal and professional growth. By driving digital transformation initiatives, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, help others, and achieve shared goals. 

What Will You Do? 

Working closely with our finance teams and our partners, you will:

• enhance decision-making and drive better business outcomes by helping our finance partners leverage advanced technologies, focusing not only on improving the efficiency of our most impactful processes but also delivering a step change in their ways of working
• support our Digital Finance Analyst to ensure successful implementation of the data pipeline, while also serving as a program manager to develop delivery processes and procedures.
• manage and maintain Power Platform solutions and the team’s Power Platform environment
• keep up to date with industry trends, experiment with emerging technologies and platforms and assess their applicability to the business
• upskill and reskill self and others in the digital space, including the use of fit-for-purpose tools. This will leverage self-led and planned learning pathways

• ability to partner and communicate with a variety of stakeholders throughout our business
• ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• an awareness of how to use digital and data for tangible impact including data visualisation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation
• relevant experience in applying business acumen to solve business problems, data analysis and leveraging programming languages
