The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our Albany team as a Warehouse Team Member. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

This is your chance to secure a satisfying and enjoyable role within a great team. You’ll be responsible for receiving, receipting and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, despatch duties and equipment operation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to show-case your energy and passion supporting a collaborative warehouse team.

This is a permanent full time opportunity working a 38-hour week from Monday to Friday across our operational hours from 7am to 5pm.

What Will You Do?

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. You will: 

• operate heavy machinery to process our steel products
• safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks   
• operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts as well as some manual handling tasks
• accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer deliveries
• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
