Come and discover this opportunity at our Metalcorp business in our Tamworth team as the Warehouse Supervisor. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

Are you looking to start your 2023 with a new job and career? As the Warehouse Supervisor you will lead a great team of professionals, you will have a focus on delivering exceptional service, developing collaborative working relationships and championing safety initiatives as well as improving productivity for the warehouse.

This is a Monday to Friday role working a full time 38-hour week across our operational hours from 7am to 5pm.

What Will You Do?

Leading our warehouse team members, you will:

• lead and supervise our warehousing operations including picking and packing as well and loading and unloading
• promote a customer focused culture underpinned with processing accuracy and quality
• support and assist your team with daily operations
• identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
• ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
• grow and mentor your team for their continued development and success

More About You

As an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to pursue a career in leadership in an operations environment, you will bring:  

• experience working within operations, warehousing, or logistics environment
• a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
• demonstrated ability in motivating and building high-performing teams
• an ability to translate business objectives to clear actions and outcomes for your team
• a commitment to the safety and well-being of yourself and others
