The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Townsville branch as an Operations Manager. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Being in a management role with us, you’ll be working and managing a production environment and managing the day-to-day operations.  Using 100% Australian made steel in the manufacturing process, you’ll be key to providing customers with what they need, when they need it.

What Will You Do?

As someone who is committed to the safety of their team and delivering on customer expectations you will be:

• running a successful day-to-day operation with your team of approximately 30 staff
• managing day to day transport and supply chain continuity, identifying issues, and providing improvements
• managing the site to meet key performance criteria including safety, employee satisfaction, trading performance and customer satisfaction
• resolving operational issues, reduce manufacturing downtime and identify process improvement
• champion WHS and Safety across the branch ensuring a safe environment for everyone
