The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Customer Service team as a Customer Service Supervisor. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

You’ll be providing leadership support, mentoring and coaching to your team of internal sales professionals, whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. As a key contributor to business success, you’ll be someone who is willing to jump in and help the team out when and where the need arises.  Success in this role will grow from nurturing, growing and strengthening relationships with our key customers, whilst demonstrating to the team excellence in the service experience, challenging ourselves to exceed customer expectations.   

What Will You Do?

Displaying high levels of initiative along with a desire to continue to enhance your people management skills, you will:

  • guide the team to support their daily interaction with customers being of a high standard
  • provide a point of escalation for the team and customers and to effectively resolve issues 
  • maintain and enhance relationships with internal stakeholder groups, such as transport and operations 
  • contribute to strategic planning by supplying market insights that will create smarter solutions for our customers

As someone who leads with enthusiasm to see the team succeed, experience within a fast paced dynamic environment would be beneficial. You will bring:

  • excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • a passion for seeing others thrive under your leadership
  • expertise in CRM and ERP platforms would be beneficial
  • commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitability
