The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in our National Innovation and Marketing team, initially in a 12 month fixed term opportunity as a Customer Service Systems Coordinator. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.  BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

What Will You Do?

In this dynamic role, you will partner with our sales teams and our customers to develop and implement new technology and applications that will enhance and streamline their experience.  Operating in a business to business environment you will guide and support your customers with the best e-commerce solutions to support them now and into the future. Taking ownership of this process, you will be involved from beginning to end, not only implementing, but nurturing a true partnership that delivers on business growth.

Acting as a conduit between our customers and internal stakeholders, you will:

  • assist in the roll out of digital solutions to enhance our customer experience
  • support our sales teams to present to customers on our digital solutions which will help improve customer experience
  • set up new customers, troubleshoot and improve ongoing implementation by liaising with internal departments - IT, Customer Service, Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics
  • maintain the integrity of customer databases by conducting testing and data verifications activities
  • support our sales and customer service teams with processes and systems to ensure the changes are fully embedded into our day to day operations

More About You

With an interest in the digital space and emerging technologies, along with your passion for process, systems and solutions, you will have:

  • previous experience in a customer service or related B2B environment
  • some expertise in SAP and a willingness to grow your skills
  • exposure to ERP and or CRM systems, and a willingness to grow your skills
  • the drive and persistence to see initiatives through to a successful delivery 
  • an enthusiasm to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers
