The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Archerfield team as an Order Management Representative.  Due to internal promotions and the growth of our industry, we currently have this exciting opportunity in our team.

Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this dynamic and fast paced role, you will be managing the customer order lifecycle from beginning to end, ensuring that our valued customers receive the products they need, at the time they need them.  Partnering closely with internal teams to deliver on customer expectations, success will grow from the persistence to see a job through to the end.  Our customers are a mix of homeowners, builders, tradespeople and industry professionals requiring a variety of superior products and solutions that we offer. Being the face of Lysaght, you will ensure all our customers receive exceptional service.

What Will You Do?

Taking ownership of the order management process from beginning to end, resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer’s experience, you will be:

  • interacting with our customers via phone and email managing quotes and queries
  • preparing and entering customer orders into our operating system
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders (marketing, warehouse and sales departments) ensuring customer expectations and requirements are met or exceeded
  • providing internal support and regular feedback to our sales teams with customer and competitor information
  • nurturing and growing relationships with customers to uncover new business and sales opportunities

More About You

You do not need to have experience in the building industry, we are looking for self-motivated and quick thinkers who can roll with the punches and take pride in seeing a job well done. You will bring:

  • high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate a mutually satisfying outcome
  • competency in computer use
  • a strong customer focus on customer experience with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • a willingness to grow, learn and develop yourself
