The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Building Components business as a Document Management Officer. BlueScope Building Components (BBC), a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

We are looking for a quality management professional to co-ordinate our document control system and implement new processes for our BBC business. You will oversee all the documentation of different functions and teams, from sales to maintenance and engineering to safety. You’ll drive efficiency and governance to enable our people to continue to excel in their roles, delivering superior products and solutions for our internal and external customers.

What Will You Do?

Responsible for the establishment, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the document control process across the business, you will:

  • assess current state, envisage and design future state and support implementation
  • collaborate and consult with our business leaders to ensuring the system supports their needs
  • design process maps and guidelines for the business
  • provide coaching and technical guidance on best practice implementation and use of the system

 More About You

With a keen eye for detail as well as an appreciation of the bigger picture and long-term outcomes you will;

  • have implemented and supported document control systems in a similar, large, multifaceted organisation
  • have exposure to quality management frameworks and can adapt these to the current needs of the business
  • be a confident communicator, able to influence and educate the business on best practice
  • have change management experience and the ability to bring people along for the journey
  • have experience with Sharepoint and MS Teams sites or similar
