The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our BlueScope Distribution business in Eagle Farm as a Business Administration Trainee. BlueScope Distribution is a provider of single-source product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification.  BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

We are offering a 12-month traineeship, with the view to provide you with a long-term career with us. 

In this exciting opportunity, you will gain a Certificate III in Business Administration while we support and develop you with first class on-the-job training. You will gain experience and exposure to our business with a focus on development in the areas of inventory management, dispatch, safety operations and administration.

A self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also enjoy keeping busy and working in a supportive team environment.  

What Will You Do?

You will be joining a collaborative team environment, and receive ongoing training and support to learn to:

  • support the team with day to day administrative functions such as ordering supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • maintain records and documentations of inventory and products
  • prepare invoices and purchase orders
  • support the team in stocktake activities
  • assist in safety and inventory audits
