Information Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation, supporting our business and customers now and for the future. Take this rare opportunity to join our Integration and Automation team as a Senior Developer working with the latest DevOps technology in our Information Technology function.

The role of the Senior Developer is to support the business, using the latest DevOps and agile methodologies, in delivering modern integration technology and services as we transform to a modern, hybrid cloud-based Azure integration. In this business-critical role, you will work in a diverse and complex integration landscape across the business and have opportunity to make a significant contribution to our Integration and DevOps capability.

This role can be based in Wollongong NSW or Mount Waverley Vic.

What Will You Do?

You will partner with the business to understand operational needs and collaborate across the IT function to translate customer needs into Integration requirements.  You will:

• Develop key Integration solutions and contribute to the project lifecycle - concept, feasibility and design
• Support, influence and guide the practice of DevOps and adoption of agile delivery techniques throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide key guidance and support to continually build on and improve the DevOps practice

More About You

With your extensive knowledge with Software Development, DevOps and Microsoft Azure iPaaS you will also have experience with:

• Designing and implementing cloud-based (Azure) technology and transformation 
• Microsoft Azure technology stack and products
• Microsoft ALM toolsets (Azure DevOPs suite) and associated development technologies
• Building logic apps and writing orchestration with logic apps and Azure functions
