The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Finance team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as a Graduate Finance Analyst. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this exciting role, working with the Senior Finance Analyst, you will provide financial analysis and support to our Slabmaking and Hot Mills departments and the broader manufacturing finance team.  We will provide you with ongoing learning opportunities and exposure across the business, working closely with our stakeholders, delivering best-practice process, procedure, systems and governance to the finance function.

What Will You Do?

Reporting to the Senior Finance Analyst, you will:

• assist in planning, coordinating and delivery of timely and accurate financial reports
• lead stocktaking activities with the support of the Senior Finance Analyst
• develop strong relationships internally and externally to the finance team
• ensure the business and customer finance needs are effectively identified and appropriate solutions delivered through a customer focused approach  

More About You

With your previous exposure in a similar finance role, along with your passion for learning, you will bring:

• a bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting or business
• belief in a safe work culture with a desire to improve business standards
• proficiency in MS Office suite
• flexibility and adaptability to changes in business reporting requirements
• an ability to work cohesively with cross-functional departments
