The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Delivery team in our Information Technology function as a Tech Care/Desktop Support Regional Lead - Victoria. Information Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation that will continue to support our business and customers now, and for the future.

The Tech Care team provide on-site IT support services to BlueScope employees and technical assistance to our external service providers.

In this new, exciting and key role, the Tech Care Regional Lead will work closely with the TechCare Manager and in partnership with our service delivery partners to provide ongoing IT support, ensuring a first-class end user experience for our Victorian colleagues and customers is continuously achieved.

This role will be based in Mount Waverley VIC

What Will You Do?

In this key role, you will manage the day to day IT support activities across each of BlueScope’s Victorian sites and provide leadership to the tech care team.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Help define the strategy to ensure regular on-site support for all sites in Victoria
  • Manage resources to ensure priorities and SLA’s are met within budget
  • Ensure allocated work activities are performed in line with IT processes and procedures
  • Understand key challenges for sites and end users
  • Ensure that all site safety procedures are followed by TechCare team members

More About You

With your experience of managing a team of technical services professionals, you will also have:

  • Experience of working in a technical services role
  • Experience with IT service delivery frameworks, methodologies and process implementation
  • Experience of working with service providers in a multi-vendor environment
  • The ability to articulate concepts to both non-technical and technical stakeholders
