The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our Northgate team as a Customer Service Officer. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

In this diverse and challenging role, you will be responsible for providing consistently high levels of customer service within the manufacturing sector. Working within a supportive, fast-paced and customer-focused team, your key responsibility will be to provide premium customer service through campaigns to increase sales and develop ongoing customer relationships.  

A self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also enjoy keeping busy and working in a supportive team environment.  
 

What Will You Do?

Being the face of BlueScope for our customers, you will be: 

  • making outbound calls to new and existing customers to identify potential growth, generate sales and other opportunities to provide value-added services 
  • preparing and following up customer quotes, whilst supporting our sales teams and branches across Australia 
  • providing internal support and regular feedback to our sales teams with customer and competitor information 
  • resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer’s experience
