The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our International Trade Affairs Team as a Finance Analyst based in Port Kembla NSW.  The International Trade Affairs Team has responsibility for the planning and execution of BlueScope Australian Steel Product’s anti-dumping and fair trade initiatives. 

In this unique role, supporting the commercial services trade remedies work, you will provide financial recommendations and insights to maximise success in ensuring imported steel competition is conducted on a fairly traded basis. 

What Will You Do?

As a trusted business advisor, you will:

• undertake data analysis and modelling for pricing and cost trends across the Australian businesses, as well as globally
• develop an in-depth understanding of, and commercial implications and opportunities for, the application of the rules-based anti-dumping framework
• prepare and respond to government inquiries relating to fair trade matters
• present data analysis outcomes and research findings to external domestic and international government bodies
• prepare and respond to government inquiries relating to fair trade matters.
• identify and implement activities to improve trade-related financial processes.

More About You

As an experienced finance professional looking to expand your knowledge and skills in a unique role, you will bring:

• tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
• CPA/CA qualifications or currently studying towards
• proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP systems
• an ability to work cohesively with cross-functional departments
