Come and discover the opportunity to join our Delivery team in our Information Technology function as an IT Product Owner - Workplace. Information Technology at BlueScope have embarked on an exciting enterprise technology transformation that will continue to support our business and customers now, and for the future.

In this exciting and brand-new role, the IT Product Owner – Workplace has been created to ensure that every employee at BlueScope has the right technology and products, to do their jobs now and into the future. You will manage a large portfolio of assets and services that are used daily across our business both onsite and remotely. This will include the full digital workplace from hardware devices to software.

This role can be based in Mount Waverley VIC or Wollongong NSW

What Will You Do?

In this critical role, you will work in partnership with our service delivery partners and drive innovation through new product and service offerings, ensuring a first-class end user experience for our colleagues and customers is continuously achieved.

To achieve this, you will be:

  • Responsible for developing Workplace service roadmaps and managing the budget
  • Defining the strategy and planning for Digital workplace for the future
  • Championing a strategic view that influences both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Managing the contracted relationships with our service providers

More About You

With your demonstrable experience of delivering and implementing end user experience, you will also have:

  • Extensive experience of IT Infrastructure service delivery management
  • Extensive knowledge of Platform Technology and trends
  • Experience in strategic technology planning, information systems coordination and demand management
  • Experience in managing service providers in a multi-vendor environment
  • The ability to articulate concepts to both non-technical and technical stakeholders
