The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Painting and Finishing Maintenance team at our Springhill site as an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this hands-on leadership position, you will be responsible for delivering a quality, cost effective and flexible maintenance function for the Springhill Cranes & Facilities Maintenance departments. You will lead, mentor and develop the maintenance team ensuring safety and quality is never compromised.

What Will You Do?

As part of the maintenance leadership team, you will:

  • supervise the day to day management of plant maintenance activities, including team management, planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance
  • coordinate and provide technical support to the broader maintenance teams
  • continually seek opportunities to improve our maintenance operations
  • contribute to cost reduction and capital upgrade projects

More About You

As an experienced electrical maintenance coordinator, you will have leadership experience working effectively in cross functional groups and thrive in a team environment. You are a self-motivated individual who has a high level of initiative and energy.

You will also have:

  • electrical trade qualifications, including advanced diploma electrical engineering or electrical engineering qualifications with practical experience
  • maintenance experience with AC and DC cranes
  • familiarity with PLC & Drive systems including Allen Bradley, Toshiba, Control Technique and Siemens
