The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Fielders Production team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a Press Brake Operator - Team Member. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

In this role, you will supporting the business by being a reliable operator on our press brake machines within our Heavy Jobbing division. Your role plays a vital part to our business as you will be cutting and shaping products into component parts and ensuring our products are delivered to our customers with quality and precision.

What Will You Do?

Being in a key role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products, you will be:

• operating the press brake machines ensuring safety rules are adhered to, which includes regular machine maintenance and keeping a clean work area
• monitoring machines for irregularities and troubleshooting when necessary
• operating a crane or forklift as required to move material
• inspecting finished products and picking and packing products
• supporting the team with general duties

• willing to be trained and learn our way of work
• reliable, dedicated and diverse team member
• aware of Health & Safety requirements
• able to communicate easily and well to a range of stakeholders
• be motivated, driven and ability to manage work load
• available to work between Monday to Fridays, 6am-2pm
