What is the role?

The ServiceNow Administrator role primarily exists to ensure the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platforms by performing application maintenance and continually improving our platform usability.

The ServiceNow Administrator position will be based in Melbourne, VIC.  It will encompass a diverse portfolio of work which will include projects, initiatives and ongoing BAU.

More specifically:

  • Develop and lead ServiceNow upgrades to maintain technical currency, ensuring configuration of tasks and features remain in line with BlueScope processes.
  • Assist IT Product Owners in identifying new ServiceNow features and services that will improve IT Service Delivery in line with business strategies.
  • Design and develop new ServiceNow capabilities and features (integrations, virtual agent conversations, discovery, orchestration).
  • Effectively contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap, providing technical guidance on the product capabilities.
  • Developing material and implementing training to ensure effective use of ServiceNow features.
  • Completing general platform administration activities, such as managing user groups, workflow mapping, patch management etc.
  • Effectively perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/remediation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Administrator who understands the complexities of a large, international organisation. You will manage key relationships with External Service Providers and internal IT Product owners.

We are seeking specific strengths in this role.  We are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT or related discipline.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator required.
  • 3 years of experience in a ServiceNow Administration capacity.
