Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Geelong team, working closely with our valued customers in the Geelong and greater region area.

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will work in a team of three account management professionals and be responsible for autonomously managing a dedicated geographic territory of accounts across multiple market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a purposeful call planning cycle and client meeting objectives to develop and maintain profitable business with new and existing clients;
  • Develop and execute market plans and strategies with consideration to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions;
  • Work collaborative with internal stakeholders to fulfill customer needs;
  • Develop new business opportunities with new customers and identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers; and
  • Source market intelligence, prepare sales reports, price maintenance and debtor and database management.

What we are looking for?

No product experience or knowledge is required as we provide structured training to support you in learning this. If you have well-developed sales capability, the ability to execute a meaningful sales process and are self-motivated then we want to hear from you!

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in an internal or external B2B sales environment;
  • Listening skills to learn customer requirements and business;
  • Time management and organisation skills to juggle different priorities;
  • An ability to leverage customer and market information to develop attractive product and service solutions;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to form collaborative partnerships with customers and internal teams;
  • Competent computer skills to use our CRM system (Salesforce); and
  • Current valid driver’s licence.
