Job Description

We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for sales, service and people to join our Bunbury team as the Branch Supervisor. This hands-on role encompasses managing the Safety, Customer Sales experience and Warehouse operations for the site, with a team of 2 direct reports.

Reporting to the State Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for servicing customer needs, driving a safe work culture, staff engagement and creating an environment committed to safety, business improvement and service excellence.

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage the day to day operations, sales, safety, distribution, and ensure customer commitments are achieved;
  • Develop your team members’ skills to achieve desired results;
  • Manage the people and processes within the business to ensure quality products are supplied to customer requirements;
  • Ensure safety standards are met and maintained; and
  • Work in collaboration with the external sales team to develop customer relationships and improve customer experience.

Who are we looking for?

You will have previous sales or customer service experience, supervisory experience in a warehouse environment with a strong safety culture and a desire to make a difference to the customer experience.

As someone who enjoys being hands-on in the branch and working with people, you will have proficient interpersonal skills as well as an adaptable and influencing communication style. Working in a small team, you don’t lose sight of the objective and can ensure your team remains focused and engaged on the task at hand.

Proven experience in sales and operations within a distribution, manufacturing or similar environment will see you succeed in this role, Knowledge of the building and construction industry and products would be advantageous.
