BlueScope has manufacturing and distribution centres in numerous locations and in Bunbury we service an active market by supplying a diverse range of quality building products that are highly valued by the construction/building sector.  Our products include Colorbond© steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater goods, solutions such as fascia & gutter systems and home improvements such as fencing, carports and patios. We also have structural solutions including purlins, steel framework & custom flashings for all uses, just to name a few.

Job Description

This exciting dual role will offer you variety each day. Typically, you will start your day operating a forklift to unload our incoming deliveries and load our products ready to be despatched to customers, as well as performing general warehousing duties.  You will then assist with customer service responsibilities for Bunbury and the wider WA branch network. This will include:

  • Answer customer queries via phone and some face to face; 
  • Efficient and accurate data entry and order taking;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other business functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Transport etc; and
  • Ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and systems updated accordingly.

Who are we looking for?

Key to this role is your passion for providing exceptional customer service to customers and your ability to perform loading and warehousing duties in a safe and efficient manner.  We will provide training on forklift and loading techniques. 

Additionally, you will have:

  • Forklift licence or willingness to learn (we will provide training)
  • sound computer literacy skills;
  • high level of safety awareness;
  • willingness to learn and show initiative; and
  • high level of attention to detail.
