The purpose of this role is to provide a long-term asset management strategy and to deliver plant reliability by improving equipment performance.  Working with a team of other strategists, equipment specialists and team leaders, you will identify and progress improvement opportunities with the aim of improving equipment availability, reliability and environmental performance. 

This will be done by focusing on equipment functional failure elimination, using root cause analysis, analysing plant and equipment performance data and ensuring recurring problems have effective solutions institutionalised.

Your role will primarily:

• Provide strategic maintenance direction for plant & equipment;
• Produce maintenance plans to deliver maintenance strategy; and
• Deliver continuous improvement outcomes.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Asset Improvement Coordinator/Strategist who will have Mechanical  equipment repairs and maintenance experience, strong equipment management skills, and experience in coaching and mentoring work colleagues in equipment technologies. Ideally you will have the following key competencies:

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A good understanding of OH&S legislation and policies; and
• Strong Communication skills and interpersonal skills
