What is the role?

Lysaght has manufacturing operations in numerous locations and our operations in Lyndhurst manufacture roll form building components that services a wide range of industries. Components include purlins, fencing, roof sheets, shed packs to name several. We require an Operations Manager to lead, manage and provide oversight across the Lyndhurst manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities and tasks are varied and will involve day-to-day people management, operational management, continuous improvement and change management. Reporting to the State Manager for Vic/Tas the Lyndhurst Operations Manager will enjoy ongoing support to drive productivity, efficiency and safety.

Who are we looking for?

We require a person who has experience working and managing a team of approximately 80-90 people across 3 shifts 5 days per week in a manufacturing environment. This position will suit a person that has worked in steel product manufacturing or other aligned manufacturing sectors such automotive. You will need to have experience managing and working with people across the whole manufacturing and distribution lifecycle and will be responsible for Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, and ultimately their teams.

This position will suit a person who has strong leadership qualities, is prepared to get involved, has personal drive, is motivated, disciplined and always puts safety first.
