We are currently seeking a leader to join our highly supportive Shift Supervisory team based at Western Port.  Leading your crew(s) you will work proactively with team members to deliver outcomes in line with manufacturing plans and operational activities.  A key component of your role will be your ability to create and deliver continuous improvement initiatives through your people which meet business needs and drive the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you and your team will support the delivery of:

• A safe, healthy and engaging working environment,
• Product quality,  Unit up-time and operational efficiency
• Reductions in Conversion costs
• Standardisation across all processes and procedures

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience coaching and managing teams within a similar environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Your experience with the management of people coupled with a sound understanding of manufacturing systems, Lean manufacturing and associated methodologies will be highly advantageous.

Displaying exceptional team building and communication skills you will be well organised, self-motivated and respectful. As an effective leader you will support the development of your crew in recognising their experiences, skills and strengths whilst supporting their ongoing professional development.
