Job Description

Are you an organised and passionate account manager and/or sales professional? This is a wonderful opportunity to join our Lyndhurst team as an Account Manager, working closely with our valued customers in the South-East Melbourne region.

Reporting to the Branch Manager based in Lyndhurst, the position will work closely with the broader customer service, operations and supply chain teams to ensure product and service delivery for our valued customers. Working predominantly in the field, you will realise product volume, revenue and margin goals by maintaining meaningful partnerships with your customers. This will see you:

  • manage and maintain relationships with existing and new customers/distributors;
  • proactively create sales opportunities for new business;
  • guide and support the customer service team;
  • work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to fulfill customer needs;
  • monitor customer activity and market conditions for opportunities and risks; and
  • undertake price maintenance activities and database management.

Who are we looking for?

A passionate and self-motivated account or territory manager who can identify, develop and maintain long term relationships with customers and build credibility with key internal stakeholders. Your account management and/or sales experience includes exposure to working within an industrial commercial related environment. Previous exposure to the building (roofing or construction or plumbing) industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Ideally you will possess:

  • well-developed account management or sales skills;
  • sound organisational and time management ability;
  • good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • aptitude to learn and create new opportunities in a fast-paced environment; and
  • a desire for on-going professional development.
