    Job Description

    We are seeking a UX / Product Designer Intern who plays a key role at Identify, conceptualize and design improvements and new features that will impact directly on our users' day to day.

    We’re looking for a user-centered designer who can lead by example and contribute towards standardizing processes and bring continuous improvement to the design process.

    The ideal candidate has an extensive portfolio, which demonstrates creative and analytical thinking and the delivery of effective UX solutions. 


    Your team:

    You will work hand-to-hand in a diverse team with members located around our different offices. The team is based in Mexico and currently expanding to London and India. 

    We are looking for talented designers who will set the pillars of the UX team in the India office and continue to deliver valuable solutions to our users.

    The UX team is responsible for creating human-centered experiences by anticipating user needs and exceeding their expectations in design, quality, and efficiency to set industry standards within software team analytics.

    As Designers in BlueOptima, we are the experts in product design and the user advocates, we drive for innovation, and create holistic experiences, we increase the product’s value by bringing the outside into the design.

     

    Responsibilities and tasks: 

    • Work closely with engineering, product, design and business folks to find solutions to design challenges.

    • Participate in UX design validations with user research and user testing

    • Create wireframes and prototypes to showcase possible solutions.

    • Collaborate to improve our  Design System.

    • Participating in UX decision making sessions.

    • Continuously seek opportunities for learning and leveraging new technologies and best practices within the field of user experience.

    • Help the team become efficient by improving processes and documentation. 

    Qualifications

    What You Need to Succeed at BlueOptima: 

    • Ability to prototype using industry standard  tools such as Figma, InVision, XD or similar.

    • Knowledge of design frameworks such as Sprint, double diamond, lean, etc

    • Ability to follow a User centered methodology

    • A passion for problem-solving, design and UI/UX.

    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.

    Good to have (Technical requirements/ Previous experience) 

    • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research methods.

    • Deep understanding of atomic design principles.

    • Knowledge of usability and visual design principles.
