Job Description

We are looking for analytical individuals with expertise in statistical analysis and Business Intelligence, to provide data driven insights for our Fortune 500 clients.

The role will report directly to our Head of Data Science and will involve a mix of external client projects and internal initiatives, as well as working closely with the global Sales Team to identify opportunities to deliver value to our customers. You will be supported to own the consultancy process from initial gathering of requirements from our clients, to developing a proposition of how you intend to address the client’s needs, to delivering insights through reports, visualisations and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify client’s needs and pain points, and propose relevant business insights and solutions through a consultative approach

  • Produce reports based on BlueOptima Coding Effort and clients' SDLC telemetry data, and translate into actionable insights to support decision making of Senior Management, including C-Level Executives

  • Create / maintain BI dashboards

  • Perform data quality checks

  • Evangelize BlueOptima and its metrics with customers

  • Share feature or improvement suggestions with the Product Team, based on feedback from clients

Qualifications

  • Degree with a specialisation in Statistics/Analytics/Mathematics or equivalent expertise in an analytical role

  • Professional work experience delivering insights with a consultative approach is a plus

  • Language Skills - R , Python, SQL

  • Analytical Tools - Excel, Tableau, Grafana, Power BI

  • Strong fundamentals in Statistical Analysis with Python or similar programming experience

  • Project management and process design knowledge preferred

  • Understanding of Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) methodologies, for e.g. V-cycle, Waterfall and Agile

  • Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub/ BitBucket) and task tracking systems (Jira/ TFS) would be a plus

Salary: $55k-$60k + $3.5K commission
