Job Description

  • You will manage finance and accounting and ensure that the company’s financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Develop and manage consolidated financial controlling and reporting for the HQ and its subsidiaries.
  • Maintain P&L, BS, and Cash Flow Reporting for internal and external audiences, as well as tax authorities. Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors in the UK, US, Mexico and India.
  • Own the financial planning activities of the company (forecasting, budgeting, finance strategic planning)
  • Oversight of the day-to-day running of finance: payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, UK VAT and US Sales Tax returns, among others.
  • Assume global responsibility for the transfer pricing function in collaboration with external tax experts and accountants in the different group subsidiaries.
  • Preparation and submission of R&D tax claims with the support of an R&D tax credits expert.
  • Collaborate with other teams in ensuring that the company meets their objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible, proactively advising where there is room for process improvement or cost savings.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process - both via automation and control
  • Support the CEO and COO in decision making process with data and analysis

Qualifications

Essential:

  • +2 years of audit/accounting experience 
  • 3-4 years in a finance position in a high growth company
  • First class Excel and modelling skills
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and Understanding of the entire business and how different departments work with each other and deliver value, beyond finances.
  • Leading from the front and hands on mentality 

Desired:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of month end close, compliance (VAT returns, Corporate Tax returns), pensions and preparation of statutory accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex financial and accounting queries
  • Experience in advanced accounting and reporting solutions
  • Working in international company with multiple legal entities under one umbrella
  • Industry experience in B2B SaaS

Interview Process

Our recruitment process comprises of four stages to practically test candidates’ abilities: 

  1. Send us your CV - should you be shortlisted, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will be in contact with you to arrange an initial chat.
  2. Should your skill set and attitude match the requirements of the role, we will arrange a second interview with the Hiring Manager of the role.
  3. The next step involves a work sample, which we allow you a maximum of 7 days to complete
  4. Providing the work sample is to a good standard, we will invite you to our office for the final interview, where you will meet your potential new manager. 

Salary : £50-£60K Annually
