We are urgently recruiting a section engineer to work for one of the leading Tier 1 contractors based in West London.

They are looking for an experienced Site Engineer/ section engineer to joint their rail projects based in West London. This is a permanent position.

Requirements

As a Section Engineer, support the senior project team in the overall implementation of the engineering strategy and day to day operation of the project;

Manage materials, plant and labour within the allocated budget and resources, ensuring their safe, effective and efficient delivery of service on the project;

Ensure all systems, design information, procedures and quality systems are effectively communicated.

Support the project delivery teams, verifying the work of others, providing technical support;

Lead or support assurance on projects through conducting audits and regular meetings with project teams, identifying best practice, areas for improvement and areas of concern, including matters relating to safety, finance or quality.

Manging sub-contractors on site.

Essential:

Have previous experience as Section/ Senior Engineer and a subject matter expert in the discipline of engineering discipline are required;

Must worked as a site engineer/ section engineer/ senior Engineer in Civil projects, particularly foundation and fit-out of building or station.

For this section engineer position exposure to the railway interface is desirable but not essential.

As a section engineer if you have experience in Piling and FRC packages, Building, Fit-Out, M&E, Cladding & Façade, Structural Steel will be positive.

Section engineer must have previous experience in managing sub-contractors, writing method statement and ITP.

Hold a valid CSCS card;

Holds a SMSTS ticket is preferable.

Have degree in Civil Engineering

Section Engineer have a desire to continuously pursue innovation and development, with a focus on engineering excellence, the customer and the business is required;

Please note salary starting from £40K+ package, depends on the experience.
