Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, People Enablement to establish a strategic business partnership function and to help shape and build talent programs at Blend. This is a pivotal role, reporting to the SVP, People Operations, that bridges business goals with People Operations strategy.
The Senior Manager, People Enablement is responsible for designing and implementing talent programs that enable and empower employees and leaders to do their best work while helping to scale a world-class People Operations teams. This role requires you to think strategically and execute tactically, while balancing business needs with “people-first” thinking.
Strategic Partnership & Business Enablement
- Serve as a key Business Partner to the Senior Leadership Team and executive leadership
- Participate in business strategy discussions and provide people-centered insights to support organizational goals
- Translate business needs into talent and people strategies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness
Program Design & Implementation
- Partner with the SVP, People Operations, People Development team and business teams to co-design and deliver programs in the following areas:
- Performance Management: Develop frameworks, processes, and cadences for goal-setting, feedback, and identifying top talent.
- Workforce Planning: Create data-driven workforce planning strategies aligned with business growth and skill requirements
- Onboarding & Integration: Design world-class onboarding experiences that accelerate time-to-productivity and cultural integration for global hires
- Talent Development: Enable career advancement, leadership development, and learning programs that grow capability and retain top talent
Organizational Development
- Contribute to organizational effectiveness initiatives including structure design, role clarity, and culture building
- Drive change management initiatives in partnership with organizational development team
- Monitor and optimize team dynamics and engagement
Team Leadership & Talent Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of global HR Business Partners
- Build a high-performing team culture that reflects our company values
- Establish performance expectations and provide regular coaching and development opportunities
- Support recruitment and onboarding of HR team members
People Services Foundation Support
- Collaborate with the People Services (HR Admin) team to build and strengthen operational foundations
- Ensure HR systems, processes, and policies support scalability and consistency across the global organization
- Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance on HR infrastructure and best practices
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 7 or more years of progressive HR and People Operations experience
- Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology organizations
- Proven experience managing global people and talent initiatives and teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Ability to translate business strategy into people strategy and drive organizational alignment
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing talent programs (performance, development, planning, onboarding)
- Strong capability as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Track record of successfully building, leading, and developing high-performing teams
- Comfortable with HRIS systems, data analytics, and HR technology platforms; Workday preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence across levels
