Job Description

Our client is a modern platform for out-of-home advertising — making it easier for brands and agencies to plan, buy, and measure OOH campaigns across thousands of vendors and formats. We are looking for an Associate Media Planner to join a fast-growing company transforming the Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising industry through technology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about media planning, enjoys working with data, and wants to contribute to innovative advertising campaigns across a variety of markets.

This is a temporary contract position with the opportunity to gain experience working with a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting clients across the U.S.

This is a hands-on role for someone who's eager to grow their planning craft, sharpen their analytical skills, and become a power user of the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end OOH campaign planning, from audience research and market selection through to proposal delivery and execution
  • Build and maintain campaign plans, cost schedules, and performance summaries using internal tools
  • Research target audiences and analyze their characteristics, behaviors, and media habits
  • Collaborate with account managers, clients, and creative teams to align on objectives and strategies
  • Become a proficient user of the clients planning platform, and surface product feedback to senior team members
  • Manage relationships with OOH media vendors and support negotiations under the guidance of senior planners
  • Juggle tasks across multiple active campaigns simultaneously, meeting internal and client deadlines

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in OOH or broader media planning
  • Familiarity with core OOH formats (billboards, transit, experiential, DOOH) and how they fit into a broader media mix
  • Working knowledge of audience and measurement tools (GeoPath, Nielsen, Google Analytics, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple deadlines at once
  • Clear communicator — in writing, in presentations, and across internal teams
  • Comfortable in spreadsheets and web-based planning platforms
  • Analytically curious, with an eye for data and performance metrics
  • Ability to work EST hours

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to multi-channel campaign planning (digital + OOH)
  • Familiarity with campaign evaluation and attribution methodologies
