Job Description
The Global Resource Management & Operations Leader will design and execute Blend’s global workforce deployment strategy ensuring that the right people with the right skills are aligned to the right opportunities at the right time. This leader will drive operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability by optimizing how we forecast, staff, and balance our global delivery capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Create, evolve, and execute Blend’s global resource management strategy across service lines and regions.
- Partner with executive leadership to align resource plans with business growth goals and regional P&L targets.
- Lead strategic forecasting efforts — anticipating demand and capacity across all markets and delivery centers.
Operational Excellence
- Build and lead global processes for demand/supply matching to improve utilization, staffing accuracy, and speed.
- Manage bench optimization, balancing indirect costs while maintaining agility to support new client demand.
- Oversee data, analytics, and tooling for resource planning, utilization reporting, and predictive capacity insights.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure proactive hiring aligned to revenue and delivery needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic advisor to service line, delivery, and client success leaders.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, and operations to inform staffing, profitability, and growth decisions.
- Act as the connective tissue between sales forecasts and delivery readiness, ensuring agility in how Blend scales talent globally.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience leading resource management, workforce planning, or operations in a global consulting or professional services organization.
- Deep expertise in demand/supply planning, capacity forecasting, and utilization optimization.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of consulting economics — including margin, utilization, and cost management.
- Proven ability to lead across regions, cultures, and time zones.
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making and the use of enterprise tools (e.g., Salesforce, Kantata, Workday, or similar).
