Blackbird Collective is an HR organisation that helps startups and established companies find employees that match their current needs. We work on freelance and interim recruitment projects for clients based in Germany, most of which are located in Berlin.

Our client is a modern tech company. Their client software helps to create intuitive and beautiful websites with absolutely no coding skills. Users created already over 25 million projects - business websites, portfolios, online shops, blogs, etc. The company is located in Hamburg has over 220 employees. You will lead a cross-functional team and collaborate closely with software engineers, designers and product managers. 

At the moment they are searching for more than one Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and technical development of products. 

• You will lead a team, manage their performance, coach and help with career development
• You will be accountable for code reviews, training team members and spread high-quality coding practices
• You facilitate technical planning and help the team to break down features into technical tasks
• You will help with the recruitment of your new team members
• You coordinate the work-flow in your team
• You will work very closely with the product owner

The company is searching for more than one Engineering Manager so they would like to hire both with Front-end and Back-end specialists.

• Front-end teams work with HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, (like React, AngularJS, Vue, or Ember). Experience with TypeScript is important. They also use tools like Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp and Cucumber, Ghost Inspector for testing.
• Back-end teams work with Java/Kotlin, NodeJS, Python, Go. Knowledge regarding Cloud computing platforms and databases like MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB is very beneficial.
