BlaBlaCar offers a truly and unique international environment with a team counting 35 nationalities,  serving a global member-base from 7 offices in Berlin, Kiev, Madrid, Moscow, Paris (HQ), São Paulo, Warsaw. English is the official spoken language across BlaBlaCar. We are privately-held and founder-led. Our team of 500 employees is entrepreneurial, passionate, and fundamentally mission-driven. 

To achieve our mission our organization relies on Senior Product Managers. Those Senior PMs are owning and responsible for one strategic initiative, regrouping the work of multiple teams and squads. Below examples of what those initiatives can be: 

• Monetization → How do we generate and optimize revenue from our carpool activity while not limiting its growth?
• Compliance → How do we craft a great member experience to mitigate friction introduced by compliance and strengthen the trust that members and authorities have in our platform?
• Multimodal XP → How do we adapt our existing passengers XP made for carpool to our new reality of Multimodality (Bus + Carpool)?

As all our Product Management team members, Senior PM are rotating on various scopes on a regular basis.

What you will directly contribute to

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to define and prioritize the highest impact projects on the initiative you’re owning
• Own, define and communicate the associated Product & Engineering strategy to all involved stakeholders
• Regularly present to company executives on roadmap progress, strategy, and prioritization
• Deploy and follow-up strategy execution among different squads within BlaBlaCar

What you will need to be successful:

• +7 years of experience in product-driven organizations
• Strong acumen for compliance-related topics and/or a previous experience in this field
• Ability to partner with many different teams from engineers to business leaders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Humility and excellent listening skills
• Fluency in English
• Appetite for back-end oriented projects impacting multiple engineering stacks
