BlaBlaCar Brazil, which is launching a marketplace of long distance bus tickets in 2020, is looking for an Account Manager with broad interests to manage the relationship with our bus partners and work on projects across the whole company, mostly related to B2B Sourcing, Sales support, and Business Development.  In this position you will have the unique opportunity to contribute in building a new vertical at BlaBlaCar. We are looking for someone who has the grit and motivation to join the entrepreneurial adventure.

Job Description

What you will directly contribute to

  • Management of the after-sales relationship with partners (bus operators) nationwide, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and zero daily friction;

  • Champion relationship with partner in order to capture its needs and maximize results of the partnership; be the voice of the partner regarding product needs

  • Management of campaigns (ex: discounts during low season) alongside partners and internal teams involved, predictively creating customized annual calendars and ensuring their execution;

  • Track and ensure successful system integrations, unit testing, bug reporting and product enhancements;

  • Monitoring and ensuring the success of the process of reporting and payments for partners;

  • Support creation and improvement of processes, policies, procedures and business strategies;

  • Perform data gathering, market research, competition analysis and data analysis for strategic decision-making and stakeholders reporting

  • Work remotely partnering with global teams (Marketing, operations, product, tech, data science, and finance), whilst interfacing and actively engaging with the local stakeholders, communicating complex analytical insights, reporting performance results (OKRs and KPIs) and business implications effectively

Qualifications

  • Background

    • 2-5 years of experience with account management, business analysis, business development, inside sales, management/strategic consulting, or project management

    • Previous experience with B2B Partnerships. (at startups or bus market is a plus)

    • Bachelor degree needed. Engineering, Economics, Business Administration is a plus

    • At least one relevant volunteering, academic or professional international experience

  • Hard skills

    • Strong communication skills and ability to present in a clear, structured and concise manner to all levels

    • Ability to work with data to define priorities, actionable insights, and present results - excellent skills to build outstanding Presentation and Spreadsheets 

    • Python, R or SQL a plus

    • Strong knowledge of the internet/technology ecosystem

    • Being able to create persuasive storytellings and improvise

    • Ability to structure solutions for complex problems

    • Fluent Portuguese and English, with both formal written and verbal proficiency

  • Soft skill

    • Extreme orientation to details and organization

    • Ability to relate by naturally engaging people around you, building strong relationships and personal bonds;

    • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries, working independently and creating a path forward - bias for action
