As Head of Marketing Strategy & Analytics, you will be in charge of leveraging data and insights to deliver strategic inputs and impulse BlaBlaCar marketing strategy in 8+ markets and several product verticals (long distance carpool, commute carpool, bus, insurance).
You will manage a 5 people team composed of Analysts and Marketing Project Managers, and you will be the main central hub between local Marketing Managers, central CRM and Paid Channels teams, and Finance team.
Success in the role means you have built and shared the right analysis framework, and formulated relevant strategic recommendations, in order to make the most out of BlaBlaCar’s local and central Marketing resources (teams and budget), and to maximize the company growth.
What you will directly contribute to :
Leverage data to understand awareness, acquisition, activation and retention dynamics, and help identify key growth and efficiency opportunities.
Build and improve relevant ROI framework for online and offline marketing initiatives
Build a strong network with your peers outside the company to ensure BlaBlaCar remains best in class in marketing analytics.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (Marketing, Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts) to plan, facilitate, and develop Marketing Analytics projects, and make your stakeholders autonomous on data and analytics.
Based on own analysis and inputs from Marketing analytics, central CRM and Paid Channels, local Marketing and Finance teams, identify growth and marketing strategic priorities for each market, in line with the overall company strategy
Collaborate effectively with local and central stakeholders in order to align on strategic priorities and turn them into operational action plans
Set success KPIs to local and central marketing teams initiatives
Drive planning and re-evaluation of marketing budget allocation between countries and channels, in relationship with Finance and Local teams.
What you will need to be successful:
6+ years of work experience, including at least 3 years experience in Growth or Marketing in a Tech company. Experience working for a marketplace business is a strong plus.
Outstanding ability to build your strategies based on data
Fluent in at least a few online marketing channels (Paid channels, SEO, CRM…). Offline channel experience (TV, OOH) is a strong plus.
Very good understanding of key marketing concepts (campaign measurement, audience targeting, attribution model, customer lifetime value etc.) and digital marketing industry trends.
Strategic thinker : able to see the big picture and balance long-term vision with short and medium-term goals
Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to manage projects and drive decision making across multiple departments and stakeholders
Strong ability to synthesize information and simplify complexity. Consulting background is a strong plus.
Fluent written and spoken English (French is not mandatory)
