Why join us?

BlaBlaLines is the carpooling service by BlaBlaCar focused on commuting. It is actively being developed and tested in France and Switzerland.

You will join a small team of engineers operating in true agile style at an early stage in the project. The current project goal is to iterate quickly and take over the commuting carpooling market.

Our team is composed of experienced people that have worked on successful services before. The job provides a lot of opportunities to learn and grow.

What you will contribute to:

• Designing, architecting and developing features for the BlaBlaLines Android application

• Improving the quality of the application

• Improving the tooling and the CI/CD pipeline

• Sharing your knowledge of Android guidelines and best practices with the UX team

• Conducting code reviews

• Collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to help shape the features that you will ship

What you will need to be successful

• Being an Android engineer with 4 or more years of experience and a passion for building mobile services

• One or more published apps

• Experience working with Dagger, RxJava, Retrofit, Kotlin and writing unit and integration tests. iOS is a plus;

• Comfortable with English (French is a plus);

• A fun attitude.
