What you will directly contribute to:

As a Blue Team Security Engineer within the BlaBlaCar security team, you will have the key mission to make BlaBlaCar move from a reactive to a proactive posture regarding security incidents. As a Blue Team security engineer, you will be mainly focusing on the following topics:

• Setting up and configure the SIEM at BlaBlaCar

• Monitoring the SIEM alerts and investigate potential security incidents

• Ensuring that the security-relevant logs are collected

• Participating in hardening the security of BlaBlaCar systems

As you will be our first Blue Team security engineer at BlaBlaCar, this job is a perfect opportunity to design and implement the SIEM you always dreamed about.

What you will need to be successful:

• +3 years of prior experience as a Blue Team security engineer

• Solid experience in setting up, operating and maintaining a SIEM 

• Familiar with incident response

• Global and broad knowledge regarding attackers methods, techniques, and tooling

• Excellent communication skills: you are able to explain complex security subjects to non-technical people

• Fluent English required

And it would be nice (not required) if you have:

• Previously worked in an agile and continuous improvement culture

• Experience in a fairly large web company

• Experience in cloud environments
