A seamless booking and payment experience is key to the success of that mission. We want our passengers to be able to book and pay their rides instantly with their favorite payment methods, and our drivers to be paid the way they want, at the time they want. That mission is particularly challenging at a moment where we scale to a wide diversity of payment methods and types, in all our 22 countries, for millions of passengers and private drivers using more than 12 currencies, as well as tens of professional partners.

You will be responsible for all aspects of product management, including:

  • Defining and communicating the strategy of your product

  • Identifying the right success metrics and tracking them

  • Problem-solving with cross-functional experts in engineering, marketing, design, data science or customer support

  • Cooperating with UX designer to provide detailed specs to the engineering team

What you will directly contribute to:

  • Defining and implementing a global strategy on the way we handle marketplace transactions

  • Ensuring we have optimal coverage of payment methods in all 22 countries

  • Ensuring we provide seamless payment UX taking into account the wide diversity of payment methods

  • Building world-class payout experience for our millions of individual drivers in all 22 countries

  • Understanding the diverse legal and finance landscapes and turn them into one simple product

  • Maintaining a good balance between optimal user experience and fraud management

How you will work:

You will work very closely with the engineering team in charge of payment, as well as with the legal and finance teams and our local expert teams spread across the world. You will interact with dedicated UX designer, data analyst, and front-end squad. You will report to the Head of Product. 

Qualifications

 

What you will need to be successful:

  • 2-3 years of experience in product-driven organizations

  • Entrepreneurial, creative and analytical spirit

  • Curious mind with an appetite for solving complex issues

  • Ability to influence and partner with engineering, legal, finance, marketing experts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Humility and sense of humor

  • Fluency in English

  • NB: The role does not require you to be an expert on payment
